Race Format

1/8th Mile

No time slips are provided; racers and competitors will not know their elapsed times.

Runs must be between 5.50 and 7.50 seconds in the 1/8 mile.

If you are faster than 5.50, your index will be set at 5.50.

If you are slower than 7.50, your index will be set at 7.50.

In both cases, you may still race, but will be at a disadvantage.

Tree & staging rules

The class uses Instant Green (no yellow bulbs; when the green comes on, you go).

Courtesy staging is allowed but not mandatory.

Deep staging is allowed.

Double-bulbing is permitted.

Race structure
-
Chip draw format (no ladder) for every round.
-
Index for eliminations is set by your fastest qualifying run.

Racers will not know their own index or their competitor’s index until results are posted after the event.

Racers can double class (e.g., run No Time Index and another class).
-
After the event, all qualifying and elimination results will be posted publicly so racers can see exact runs and verify indexes.

Car eligibility

Must be a door car (no dragsters).

Can be a race car or a street car.
-
Any tire size allowed (radials, slicks, etc.).
-
No electronic throttle stops, no delay boxes allowed.

Transbrakes and two-steps are allowed.
