Frequently Asked Questions:
How Much Does It Cost To Race?
Our goal at Mission Raceway Park is to further the world of motorsports, both to racers and fans! As such, we try and keep our pricing competitive and affordable. The easiest and cheapest way to get into drag racing is to attend our Mopac Auto Supply Friday Night Street Legal Drags, which happen all throughout the summer! Any street legal and insured vehicle can race during a Mopac Street Legal, whether you drive a soccer mom mini-van or a luxury super car. Simply ask for a “Tech Card” (which is your pass to getting behind the wheel and on the strip) at the gate. Tech Cards are only $50 CAD, and will allow you between 5-10 passes down The Titanium Strip in a night.
As we are a NHRA sanctioned track, there are some restrictions that you will need to abide by during our Mopac Street Legals. Please review the Rules and Regulations here or on nhraracer.com
Do I Need A Helmet? Do You Offer Helmets For Rent?
At the present time, we do not offer a helmet rental program.
We require drivers to wear a helmet for all of our racing events, with the exception of drivers during Mopac Auto Supply Friday Night Street Legal Drags, who drive a car at or slower than 14.00s over the 1/4 mile. If you drive any faster than 14.00s, track officials will ask you to wear a helmet. Drivers who participate in our Road Course Open Lapping or BCDA Open Drift Events must wear an approved helmet, regardless of speed, car type, or skill level.
Approved helmets include:
SNELL 2015 and SNELL 2020.
SFI 31.1/2015 and SFI 41.1/2015
SFI 31.1/2020 and SFI 41.1/2020
FIA 8860-2010, FIA 8859-2015, FIA 8860-2018, and FIA 8859-2024
Helmets must be in good condition, regardless of expiry date.
Do You Offer Cars For Rent?
At the present time, we do not offer cars for rental, for either drag racing or road racing events. There are a variety of companies that run events at our facility that may offer their own car rental programs, but we do not catalog these. Please contact these companies to enquire about their car rental programs.
I Live In Mission, BC. Can I Watch The Races For Free?
First off, hello neighbour! We have partnered with Canadian Tire Mission to provide free entry to our Mopac Auto Supply Friday Night Street Legal Drags to all residents of Mission, absolutely free! All you need to do is provide Government Issued Photo ID that has your current Mission address to our gate staff, and they will give you a free admission.
If you’re a parent, Youth 12 & Under can attend all of our events for free as well, with a paying guardian!
For all other events, you will need to purchase a ticket at full price. Tickets can be purchased online via Showpass, or at the gate. We accept cash, debit, and credit.
Can I Rent The Track?
Yes! We offer track rentals for both the road course and drag strip, or both! We also rent our facility for music video or movie productions.
Rentals are offered either as “day” rentals or “night” rentals, from 9am to 4pm or from 4pm to 9pm. Want to rent for the whole day? We’ll cut you a deal!

I Want To See *insert fast car here*, When Are They Racing?
We bring a variety of exhibition cars and groups to our events throughout the year, and some events cater to speciality groups more than others! Consulting our events calendar and social media will be the best way to find out who is running, when, and what’s coming to the track next!
